Excellence Marble and Granite – Terms & Conditions
1. Quotes & Pricing
- All estimates are valid for 30 days from the issue date.
- Prices may change due to material availability, labor costs, or unforeseen circumstances.
2. Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit of 70% is required to begin work.
- Once material is ordered or fabrication begins, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments not received by the due date may be subject to late fees and collection actions under Florida law.
3. No Refund & Cancellation Policy
- All sales are final. Excellence Marble and Granite does not offer refunds on custom orders, special materials, or fabricated pieces.
- If the customer cancels the project after fabrication begins, the customer remains responsible for any remaining balance on materials and labor costs.
4. Project Timeline & Delays
- Estimated completion dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by material availability, weather, or customer-related delays.
- Excellence Marble and Granite is not liable for delays due to factors beyond our control.
5. Material Variations & Customer Acknowledgment
- Natural stone varies in color, veining, and texture. The customer acknowledges that final materials may differ from samples or pictures.
- Excellence Marble and Granite is not responsible for these natural variations.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- The customer must ensure that cabinets, plumbing, and other site conditions are ready before installation.
- Excellence Marble and Granite is not responsible for additional costs due to site readiness issues.
7. Limited Warranty & Liability
- We provide a 60-day limited warranty on installation, covering craftsmanship defects.
- This does not cover cracks, chips, stains, or damage resulting from misuse, improper care, or structural movement.
- Excellence Marble and Granite is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages under Florida law.
8. License & Insurance
- Excellence Marble and Granite is a licensed and insured contractor in the state of Florida.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
- Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in [County, Florida] before any legal action is taken.
- The customer agrees to pay all collection costs and attorney fees in the event of non-payment.
